Across the Duwamish and genuinely separate in feel. Alki Beach carries two and a half miles of Puget Sound shoreline with the downtown skyline directly across the water; the Admiral and Alaska Junction districts are the two commercial centres.

A broad range: 1920s Craftsman, substantial mid-century stock, waterfront property along Beach Drive, and townhouse and apartment development concentrated around the Junctions.
The West Seattle Bridge is the connection, and its emergency closure from 2020 to 2022 is the single most instructive fact about this area: when the bridge goes, so does the commute. The water taxi to downtown runs from Seacrest and beats driving at peak. Light rail here is planned, not built.
Bridge dependency is the risk that defines this market. Much of the western slope sits in a mapped landslide-prone area, so a geotechnical report is not optional on a hillside lot. Waterfront carries its own insurance and erosion questions.
These notes describe the physical and civic character of a place. They are one broker’s opinion and they are deliberately silent on who lives there.
Everything published here at the moment, sold sheets included. The set is small because it is one broker’s inventory rather than a feed, and each one has been walked before it went up.
